Call for Papers

The Texas A&M Race, Identity & Social Equity (RISE) Program Committee invites proposals for the fourth annual conference that will take place in the Memorial Student Center on Friday,  March 24th, 2022. We welcome proposals for panels, individual papers, workshops, and alternative session formats that allow for audience participation and community engagement in a virtual format. We encourage submissions from undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff that would like to present research focused on the RISE areas. The RISE initiative provides a year-long research opportunity for undergraduate students at Texas A&M, culminating with presentations of the research at the RISE Conference. The RISE Conference also seeks to provide an opportunity for a campus-wide discussion around significant issues of race, identity, and social equity on campus, in the nation, and on a global scale. To learn more about the RISE initiative please visit our webpage at http://dms.tamu.edu/diversity/tamu-rise/
